Getting Diagnosed

At a Glance

A doctor must diagnose fibromyalgia. Your physician will test to see if you experience pain in all four parts of the body for at least three months and if you feel pain in at least 11 designated tender points, when 10 pounds of pressure is applied.  Be aware that other conditions like multiple sclerorsis and chronic fatigue syndrome share similar symptoms with fibromyalgia.
