Prevention

At a Glance

Those with Fibromyalgia have problems processing pain correctly. Usually pain is something that alerts you there is something wrong, and once treated, starts to subside. With Fibomyalgia, the pain instead intensifies and spreads. Preventing the spread of pain is part learning to prevent the behavior that creates pain for you, and part making sure to take medication as a preventitive measure, and not a reaction to pain.
