Other medications can be used to treat fibromyalgia, including benzodiazepine sedatives for sleep disturbances, non-benzodiazepine sedatives for sleep problems, and anesthetic or botox injections to relieve specific muscle pains. Exercise and physical therapy are also components to treatment that can help reduce pain.
