At a Glance

Because the term chronic pain is so broad, there is certainly not one signal diagnosis.  Some patients can toil for years while a diagnosis-by-deduction is being built, while others may be able to diagnose a chronic back injury with a single doctor visit.  Knowing what to look for in the diagnosis process - how to work with doctors, how to work with the Pain Scale, what a particular diagnosis may mean - will help in this process.
