At a Glance

One of the primary sources for controlling chronic pain is through the use of medication.  Many chronic pain patients rely on opioid drugs, such as methadone, oxycotin or vicodin to control pain throughout the body.  Additional medications used for pain include opioid pain pumps, topical pain relievers, over-the-counter pain relievers and injectable pain relievers (such as cortisone).
