At a Glance

Injectable medications are ones that are administered in a method different than being absorbed through digestive organs, and may be used for purposes of prevention or cure. Most common among many methods of injection are: intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous. Sterilization of tools and injection site are a prime concern when injecting vaccines and drugs.
