At a Glance

In addition to main-stream pain treatments, some patients opt to try holistic pain management treatments such as acupuncture.  Some research suggests that acupuncture may help some pain medications work better.  Patients should always continue to use their physician-prescribed treatment and use holistic treatments under physician supervision.
