At a Glance

If traditional treatment for chronic pain fails, there are other options to consider. There are alternative therapies, such as acupuncture, spinal manipulation, herbs and supplements, as well as lifestyle changes, such as exercise. Specific conditions may also offer several other medications or treatments to try, such as is the case with back pain. Sometimes surgery is an option when traditional methods have failed.
