Does living and sharing with someone who loves you help you cope with the pain better?

I've been alone for 5 years, and hate it tremendously. I have found, when I was around someone I really cared about and who cared for me, that the pain lessened. Have been struggling for too long.

So tired

I'm new and very glad to find a place with so much information and help. I'm 55 and sick and tired. I have had chronic pain for quite awhile but it has escalated over the last three or four years. I live with chronic pain. I have degenerative disc disease, sciatica, pinched nerves, my last disc collapsed onto my tailbone, when the disc collapsed my nerve root was stuck inbetween the disc and my tailbone.
