i have fibromyagia and at night im always having a hard time sleeping a becouse of stiness pain and b becouse i get some weird like pinching sensations at rest what can i do to relieve this, has any one heard of a vital wrap im trying to get my insurance to pay for this its a heat and cold like pump that wraps around your body for pain.

Good luck with getting the Vital Wrap reimbursed. It certainly sounds like an intriguing idea. Unfortunately there haven't been any studies that examined its effectiveness in FM and I wasn't able to find much information on it.  

 

I assume you've tried sleep medications (?). You should also make sure you're practicing good sleep hygiene and consider doing relaxation/meditation-type exercises before you go to sleep to try and get in as deep a sleep state as possible. 

 

Below is some information  on  sleep hygiene and connected to the page are some alternative remedies for sleep.  Good luck with the VitalWrap and your sleep - getting better sleep is a very important part of getting better with FM.
