Q: Can hypoglycemia turn into type one diabetes?

i have been dealing with this undiagnosed low blood sugar for three years now and I now have some of the signs of type one.is it possible?

I am not a doctor and the only knowledge I have is from personal experience. I had hypoglycemia most of my life. I thought that meant I would never be a diabetic. I was wrong...so, so wrong.  My doctor told me that being hypoglycemic is a risk factor for developing diabetes later in life. The diabetes site should be able to give you some good information on this.  Best Wishes to you. V
