Q: what foods should i not eat while i suffer from gout

Gout is related to the formation of urate crystals in the body. The increased level of uric acid (urate) in the body is due to poor metabolism (breakdown) of purines. Purines are found in many foods, primarily meat. To read more about gout and purines please link here.

 

I would advise you to consult with a nutritionist who can give you the tools to lower your purine load.
