why my pain meds dont last long

my question is why does my pain meds dont last long I have been on pain pills since 2004 due to surgury on my brain then neck then back Iam on I think its a high dose of for me ,but anyways morphine 60mg every 6 hrs and its ir, however I find myself to take it and It starts about a hr after the dose however it only last short term> Why??? could it be I have just been on too many and my body is not taking it in as well??? also I have been looking for a good clinic outside of buffalo new york or even here. cant seem to find one do you know of any??? I really have no clue or what to think after all and the yrs that has passed But can say I have gotton worse and not getting any better !!!! I feel as my life is just passing me by ,I dont know who to belive doc too doc they say I have cervial/dengtive disk diease as well as back fauilure sydrome, and fibromyalia, I dont know what to belive!!!! all I know is that Iam in heavy pain were I cannot function to do my housework and mostly homebound do you have any suggustions? as Iam 44 and most of all it hurts not knowing where the pain is from and what is the cause it seems to me every since my back surgury I went down hill my lower back hurts to the point I cry and cant do anything to ease it.I have seen to pain doc in the last 2yrs and nothing has changed for me which makes it alot more frustraing, also my whole body hurts legs just everything what could this be??? and with all would this make me cry so bad do you have any clue what it maybe and any tests you would sugguest?? thank you Angel07
