I have had emg's and no they are not that bad.... The only this I can tell you is, they will send very small shocks through your nerves to see if they are working correctly. They will also use tiny needles to probe these as well. If your in the amount of pain you are stating this will be a cake walk.... Good luck and I wish you the best. This sounds much worse than it is.
