I will be having my first in August. First they go in and deaden the nerves then send me home to do things that would cause pain to see how it works. The percentage. If that works then they will go back, burn the nerves. The Dr. said they do regenerate and heal and it could be from six months to eighteen months before that happens. When they regenerate and the pain comes back they go in and repeat it again. Works well for most people. The first procedure lets them know if it works and how well before they do it. good luck.
