Do pain pill cause you to have strong urine

I have been take pain meds for two yrs now and I notice after using the restroom I have a strong urine smell on me. could that be coming from the meds.

I've never heard anyone else mention a strong urine odor from pain medicine, but I don't know for sure whether they could be related or not.  I'd suggest you ask your pharmacist. 

 

A strong urine odor can be caused by other things like dehydration or a urinary tract infection.  It would probably be a good idea to ask your doctor to test your urine to make sure you don't have an infection.  You might also try drinking a lot more water if you think dehydration could be the problem.
