Q: please is there anybody that can help me or give me any advice. Would the morphine pump be any help for a bone disease.

Hiya, l am already on alot of medication but l am on mst 60mg and on 10 - 20ml of the oramorph. I was put on the the fentanyl patches but was taken of them because the patches would not stay on but other than that the drug worked. But they will not put me on the lolly , tablet or lozenge form coz it cost the nhs alot of money. Bin told to carry on with the mst and oramorph and still having very little effect. Will the morphine pump be any different and will it help with this long lasting cronic pain. Doctors keep telling me there is nothing more they can do to help releaife the pain. l have tried alot of things and nothings worked and we have tried lots of things and still in terrible mounts of pain. l can bearly walk the pains bin terrible. I am only 28 and being in this much pain is not right, and l have a little girl thats 6 years old. rather of had the labour pain than this. least for labour you get gas and air to help with the sharp pain. when its bone pain you get very little relife. at witts end. the only thing that keeps me going is my little girl and partner. The pains taking over me life l want to be the fun loving mum again and its bin on going for a very long time and its getting worse. l cant bare this pain anymore. will the morphine pump help me or wouldnt it make a diffrence. and if not what are me options. l am writting cos l cant bare it any longer. I wish me doctor would just but me bk on the fentanyl coz that was the the only pain killer that helped and l had no side effects to the drug. it all seems to boil down the cost. what can l do? l am writting this and hoping somebody understands.we have all come on this page coz we all have something in common. we all suffer with terrible pain. would the pump help? tried alsorts. at witts end. Thank you so much if somebody could help me. from amanda
