feels like socks are folded up in shoe but they are not
46 years old just started @1 year ago only when im on feet long time concerned about blood circulation ect
This is certainly something you should talk to your doctor about. Sometimes strange sensations in the feet are caused by nerve problems and these can be the first sign of diabetes or other conditions. If they are then it's greatly to your benefit to get them diagnosed as early as possible. So even though it seems like kind of a weird symptom you should get it checked out by your doctor. Good luck!

I have had massive problems with my feet and legs since 1999 when I was introduced to the unbelievably painful problem of RSD in the recovery room of the hospital after having bunion and hammertoe repair surgery in my right foot. Since that terrible December day, I ahve had ever increasing problems, from one toe to both feet and legs up to my knees as well as both hands with the same neuropathatic pain that requires me to be using ever increasing dosages of morphine administered every 2nd day via patch. While I have terrible circulation and incredible pain all the time, I also have little real feeling in either foot and find myself stumbling more and more. I am now 62 and have to use a cane and finally got approved for Social Security Disibility last September so I am now (as of April 2009) covered by MEDICARE. thank God, because I was being charged upwarks of $5000/month for my private health insurance (a HIPPA policy since I am considered to be un-insurable by the health insurance industry in the USA).
THis trouble will only continue to spread and get worse as there is no work being done by researchers for RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) a.k.a. CRPS (Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome)... I must wear a hard sole shoe or slipper al the time because my feet are so terribly sensative and painful. Thank God for my Pain Management Specialist who I see monthly and who makes sure I am doing as much as I can to "fight back" and not give in to this terrible pain.
Add this to the other big pain problem -FIBROMYALGIA and I have a total body of unending pain, 24/7. My best method to fight it and keep going every day is to do volunteer work to help other people who have more problems than I will ever have. THIS HAS SAVED MY LIFE.
Fight the good fight and take each day one at a time.
Chris
