will Opana er work better than oxycodone 15 mg 6 x day

I take 15mg of oxycodone 6 times a day & soma 4 x a day and Lyrica 4 timmes a day this helps a good bit but still have pain doctor wants me to start Opana er with some thing for break through pain would this be more effective. I have spinal stensosis advanced, cracked vert in neck & stenosis arthritis in feet and back and neck ,also both ankles haves joints that are going bad cannot fuse because of poor circulation. I cannot flounder around must be doing something I am a 35 plus year workacholic. the more I am on my feet the more intense pain is.

It's hard to say whether Opana ER (oxymorphone) will work better for you than oxycodone.  Both are opioids and both are for moderate for severe chronic pain, but they are structurally different.  If you've been taking oxycodone for awhile, you may have built up a tolerence for it and switching to a different opioid could give you more pain relief.  Also, different patients seem to do better on different medications, so it's often a matter of trial and error to find what works best for you.  Good luck.
