Q: the right side of my hips hurt whenever i exert force on the right hip

the right side of my hips hurt whenever i exert force on the right side, such as using my hip to get out of bed or even leaning towards the right when i am sitting down.

I fell down many years ago and ever since have some movement on the right hip whenever i walk. However, after going for an x-ray the doctor said that it shows no dislocation. He mention that it may be a torn ligament, but shouldn't torn ligament heal after awhile? The movement is still there after 7 years.

And as for the pain, the last time i had was a year ago and now its back again.
