I don't have any personal experience with this but I haven't been able to find any reputable medical professionals who recommend calcium supplements to treat heel spurs. I usually only see that advice on sites that are selling supplements.

 

The most commonly recommended treatments include stretching exercises, rest, applying ice packs to the affected area, anti-inflammatory medication, and sometimes the use of a heel cup or other orthotic.
