I had a bit of a time trying to undertsand what you typed, but here is what I know. My mother has been on all of these you have mentioned, and some, for more than fifteen years, so let me tell you what i see and do. Morphine, of course, is addictive, as well as valium. If you can honestly avoid taking them, please do. My mother lost a full year of her memory due to morphine and valium, and I spent that year (13 years old) watching her drool in her chair and stare at the ceiling. Long term use of Morphine and other narcotics will cause tooth loss, no matter if you brush and floss daily. My mother is forty-six, beautiful, and has full dentures. It ruins your mouth. In 2001, my mother came down from all the meds and had a morphine pump put in her. This cut back on the oral meds, kept her mind mostly clear, and cut back on the pain immensely, since the pump ejected medication directly to the site of pain instead of through her whole system. Once a month she had to travel quite a distance however, to a doctor to refill the pump with morhine.

For six years it was a great help, until about a year and some ago, when my mother started experiencing numbness in her leg. This progressed until it was discovered that where the medication ejected from into her spine, a cyst had grown, pressing against her nerves. It was removed- along with the pump, however the damage has been lasting. She can't walk the way she used to and still has sometimes intense nerve pain. Though it helped for some time, the damage was horrible. So there is a risk in using a morphine pump.

If you can look into other avenues of treatment, please, please, please do, but if you can't be most cautious of the results. No one leaves long-term morphine usage unscathed. It will affect you greatly, and your loved ones.

I'm sorry, it wasn't my intention to frighten you, merely to inform you of the effects of these drugs. Of course, consult a doctor, but be wary that they may water down the effects of these drugs in order to make money off of you. Remember, each time they write a prescription, they get paid.
