Q: Mechanical link therapy

Has anyone had a therapy called mechnical link? My MD referred me to a PT who does this.

I haven't tried it but it sounds intriguing. In Mechanical Link Therapy the masseur or therapist tries to removes blocks in the connective tissues of the musculature (fascia) that may be impeding energy flows and causing pain. It sounds like something that would be useful in releasing the contracted muscles in fibromyalgia although I don't believe any studies have been done. Good luck with the therapy.
