I am nine years into Fibromyalgia.  I just started one month ago on Lyrica...hope there won't be weight gain!    I am writing to ask you if you have had your calcium level checked?  I recently had two parathyroids removed.  I was losing calcium...blood and urine...and lost a lost of my bone density in six year's time.  My calcium level had been on the high side for many, many years and no one was worried about it.  Finally, when it went up more, I was sent to the surgeon.  When it started going down after the surgery, I had charlie horse cramps for the first time in my life.  I wonder if you are having cramps due to a decreased calcium level. Just an idea!
