Q: I have been taking perocet 10/325 and ms cotian 30 mgs for years no problems for

severe back pain for years and this has worked the best with no reaction I am able to get out to my dr appt make a few routine runs with no problem on this medication it doesn't kill the pain totally but I rather know where I am if my back is really back or my legs I stay in this I do alot but I was able to get out to do errands and get to Dr's appt.

I asked my PCP to send me to this surgeon I found and instead he sugguested I go to this pain mangement place and I did right away they want to change my meds something thats been working and I can function.  He said to try methadone I wasn't thrilled about this but he promised that he would change back if the new ones didn't work the plain Oxycodone no tylenol and the Methadone.  After taking this stuff I get a terrible headache I'm sick to my stomach and have no appetite and I haven't taken the full doses he told me to take then I go to sleep for hours the first day I slept the whole day they same with the rest I am now going into day 4 he said give it a week my appt with him isn't until Fri and he gave me enough for 7 he wanted to see me in a week but there were no opening  thank god I'm not taking what I'm suppose to.  I can't function on these and the Dr.s don't listen is there someplace you can call and get help with this type of situation or u have to take it they promise to help u and then they don't if something works leave it alone if it doesn't then try to fix it I told him I rather feel some pain than be drugged to death.  Instead he gave me  meds that I feel more pain and I'm unable to do anything on them I want the old meds back how do I do that.  I feel like a junkie at 58 yr old.
