The best person to tell you how long it takes for side effects to show up or for Lyrica to reach it's peak effectiveness is your pharmacist.  Pharmacists are usually very happy to answer your medication-related questions, so don't hesitate to give him/her a call.

Dear hardnose,

I tried Lyrica and unfortunatley it made my feet swell. Within two days I had the side effects so I would think it works pretty quickly. I have heard that within two years you will have 75% less pain (for fibromyalgia) if you take Lyrica. I wish you all the best and I hope this is the drug that works for you. Good luck.
