Oxycodone APAP and Percocet are different names for the same drug. The strength depends on the dosage. The first number - 5 - in the case of the oxycodone - refers to how many milligrams of the narcotic pain reliever is present, the second to the amount of acetaminophen (which enhances the pain relievers effectiveness) that is present.   Thus the strength depends on how each is formulated.
