Oxycodone APAP and Percocet are different names for the same drug. The strength depends on the dosage. The first number - 5 - in the case of the oxycodone - refers to how many milligrams of the narcotic pain reliever is present, the second to the amount of acetaminophen (which enhances the pain relievers effectiveness) that is present.
