Please Help! My sister suffers from severe chronic pain due to a TVT procedure (bladder lift using vaginal mesh) in November of 2008 that went very wrong. The mesh got infected and then it was multiple surgeries after that. She has been unable to work since November 2011, has been hospitilized twice for severe depression. She is on high doses of opiates, antidepressants and antianxiety pills. She has nerve pain due to multiple surgeries and a bladder that now does not work leaving her to self catheterize. She is currently waiting to get into a pain clinic (we live in Maple Ridge BC Canada) and has been waiting for months. She sees a psycholigist, psychiatrist and gp regularly but this does not seem to be working. I feel like i need to get her into a multidisciplinary clinic to deal withe all of the issues but there doesn't seem to be anything like this in Canada. She is slipping deeper into depression but does not want to go back to the psychiatric ward as adjusting drugs seems to be the bandaid fix there. She used to be a vibrant 42 year old mother of three with a promising career and now she struggles to do menial tasks on her own. She needs the pain to be reduced so she can function throughout the day and then she can work on her mental health. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS OF WHERE I CAN TAKE HER??? At this point we are willing to travel anywhere and pay if necessary. I can't take seeing her suffer any longer. Please help
