Q: How is Fibromyalgia detected? I dont think the way I feel and the lack of energy that I am experiencing is all that normal.

I am 37 yrs old and live in Ohio. For some time now, I have been experiencing chronic pain in mainly my hips, legs and back. I feel like I have NO energy hardly ever. Getting up out of bed and walking in the morning is the worst! When I get to work, climbing the stairs kills me! I am out of breath easily on top of this. I do have asthma but it hasnt been that bad. I am not over weight. 5 ft. 1 1/2 and 108#. I look at others my age and older and their energy level blows mine out of the water. Today, was one of the worst days. went to the store and bought a 24 pack of water. I could barely lift it and felt like I already ran a marathon before hand. I have been checked for arthritis, and routine blood work. HELP! I dont want to live like this. How is Fibromyalgia detected? Stephanie

normally they check if u have 11 out of 18 tender points. but they are revising it i believe. have u seen any Drs about this?  Do u ever go to the chiropractor? often when i'm out of place i get pain like that. sometimes being out of breath is caused by the spine out of place and putting prusure on the lungs.  4 morning stiffness try sleeping on an electric blanket or heated matress pad.
