Q: is adominal bloating caused by interstital cystits
Abdominal bloating can be caused by many factors including something as simple as too much gas or constipation,as well as things like lactose intolerance, irritable bowel syndrome and in very rare cases cancer. I didn't find any indication that bloating is a common symptom in IS. IS, also known as painful bladder syndrome, effects the bladder not the colon. The most common symptoms associated with the disorder include urinary problems, feelings of pain or pressure around the bladder area, painful sexual intercourse, etc.

CRYSTAL I HAVE BASICALLY JUST ASKED THE SAME QUESTION.LOOK FOR MY QUESTION FROM JO.POSTED TODAY.DECEMBER 26TH.I WAS IN TOO MUCH PAIN TO GO TO ANY OF THE CHRISTMAS EVENTS TO SEE MY LONG LOST SISTER WHO SHOWED UP.I HAVE FINALLY SEEMED TO HAVE CONVINCED SOMEHOW TO MY MIDDLE DAUGHTER AND MY SISTER I AM NOT A DRUG ADDICT.AND SHE CAME I AM SURE TO SHOW HER SUPPORT.BUT I UNFORTUNATELY WAS TOO SICK TO SHOW UP.AND I MISSED MY GRANDCHILDREN OPENING THEIR CHRISTMAS.IT WAS NOT SO BAD THE OLDER ONES WHO WE GAVE MONEY AS I THINK THEY PREFER THAT TO ANYTHING A GRAND PARENT WOULD PICK OUT.THIS WAY THEY CAN GET WHAT THEY WANT.THEIR AGES ARE 21,17,AND 16.IT IS THE 2 MONTH OLD THE 6 YEAR OLD AND THE 2 TEN YEAR OLDS WHO STILL BELIEVE IN SANTA.I STILL BELIEVE IN HIM AS I HAVE NEVER UNDERSTOOD AS POOR AS I HAVE BEEN UNTIL I WAS 33 AND MARRIED A MAN WHO HAD THE MONEY FOR ME TO BUY THE FIRST PRESENT I WAS ABLE TO GET FOR MY PARENTS.AND ALSO HOW I PRAYED IN BED AT NIGHT WHEN I WAS SO POOR I COULD NOT GO TO WORK THE NEXT DAY AS MY CAR WAS ON EMPTY,I ONLY HAD 2 PAIR OF PANTS FOR AMY WHO WAS IN THE 6TH GRADE AT THE TIME AND SHE WAS THE ONE WHO REASSURED ME AT THE AGE SHE WAS THAT IT WAS OK MOM IT DOES NOT MATTER TO ME.HAVE YOU EVER KNOWN ANYONE THAT UNSELFISH AT THAT AGE.ALSO THAT NIGHT I PRAYED TO GOD TO PLEASE FIND A WAY FOR ME TO GET ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY MY 3 GIRLS EVEN ONE CHRISTMAS PRESENT.MY MOTHER WENT TO EACH OF HER SIBLINGS ASKING FOR A DONATION OF $50 DOLLARS SO THAT I COULD BUY CHRISTMAS FOR MY GIRS.EVERY ONE OF THEM CHIPPED IN AND I HAD $250.00 A SUM FOR AROUND THAT TIME I AM SURE WAS PROBABLY MORE LIKE 2 THOUSAND 5 HUNDRED.MY POINT BEING THE GIRLS SAID IT WAS THEIR MOST MEMORABLE CHRISTMAS.SO YES I DO BELIEVE IN SANTA AND GOD I THINK THEY MUST BE ONE AND THE SAME.SO THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO ARE GOOD PEOPLE.AND I THINK THE SAYING IS TRUE."THAT BAD THINGS HAPPEN WHEN GOOD PEOPLE DO NOTHING.I AM SORRY THIS DOES NOT ANSWER YOUR QUESTION.I JUST THOUGHT IT MIGHT HELP YOU TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE OTHER POEPLE OUT THERE WHO ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS YOU HAVE WHO HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN ANSWER.I THINK THE NOT KNOWING IS THE HARDEST THING OF ALL.GOOD LUCK I WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS.JO

• Partial bowel obstruction
• Small bowel bacterial overgrowth
• Fibromyalgia
• Celiac disease
• Crohn's disease
• Colitis
• Endometriosis
• Ovarian cancer
If you eliminate gas-producing foods from your diet and the bloating continues, check with your doctor.
