Q: will valium show up on a urine sample for my pain dr? i only using fentanyl patches. took vali once

i took the valium once the night before the testing. i NEVER take anything outside what my doctor prescribes, EVER. so it figures, the one and only time she does random drug screenings in her office is the one and only time i had take a valium the night before to calm my nerves. will this be a huge issue? i had gotten it from a friend, which i know is wrong. my dr prescribes me fentanyl patches and tramadol for severe pain problems, but no benzodiazepines or whatever they are called. i dont need them or use them. it was a one time thing! :(

Yes it will show up in a drug screen. Even a poppy seed bagel will show up on a drug screen!!! Sounds like you knew better but did it anyway Undecided. Despiration can get you in trouble every time!!! With all of the restrictions on controlled substances now, some Dr's will even fire their patients if they are taking drugs that are not Rx'd by them. Good luck!
