Is oxy contin and fentynal patches used in conjunction as a treatment for chronic pain?

I suffer from chronic pain due to herniated discs as well as degenerative disc disease along with several other issues. I have tried many medications and therapies. The only time in the last 6 years that I have felt that my pain was somewhat controlled was when I started the fentynal patch along…
