Have you asked your doctors about Fibromyalgia? Fibromyalgia or FM is characterized by widespread pain, problems sleeping and concentrating and dizziness can be a real problem as well. There is no single test for FM  but the symptoms are pretty distinct and physicians who know the disorder and recognize it pretty quickly.

You can find some informationi on FM here. Good luck!

It sounds like Fibromyalgia to me...I have many of those same symptoms...have the doctor do blood tests.  If they are normal, the likelihood that you have fibro increases.  Also he should do the tender point test ---11 out of 18 means you have fibro also.

Please clear with the doctor that you need pain/sleep relief and are willing to try a number of medications that will work for you..sometimes you need to experiment with the medication and/or dose.  Don't give up.  Hot baths with epsom salts, acupuncture, massage and other non-traditional techniques can work well for this condition.  I've had it since 2004 and can say that my pain level is much lower than when I was diagnosed.  I also take Flexeril (10 mg) at bedtime..it is a muscle relaxant that helps me to sleep.
