The severe gastrointestinal problems you describe could result in many of the other symptoms you mentioned.  If your GI doctor is not continuing to run tests and trying to find out what is causing your problems, you probably need to find another doctor – either another GI specialist, or perhaps you might try an Internist.

I don't blame you for being frustrated.  I hope you're able to pinpoint what is causing your symptoms soon.

You might ask them to check your gallbladder as it can cause pain, nausea, vomiting, constipation, etc. Good luck, sorry you are so sick. Christine

I was just like you, never even got a cold until one day I started to get sharp pains in my right side, mnore towards the front. I was naseaus all the time, couldnt eat. I have never slept, not even as a baby so I didnt notice any changes there. Every Dr I saw assumed it was my galbladder they did a battery of tests and prescribed medication (I cant remember the name but it stops some of the bile from being absorbed). I had the endoscopy but not the colonoscopy and found that I didnt get much help from the GI Dr or an Internist. I saw a great Gyno who did a laparoscopy due to endometriosis and adhesions. After that he did a hysterectomy (due to a total other laundry list of problems) and since that day I have never felt that pain again. I know that this sounds totally random and way off course, but when I read what you were writing I got flash backs. It might be something to have your Gyno look into. Reply
