Q: Burning and numbness on toes and pain on the bottom of toes

I had knee surgey on June 8 my toes are numb and burning!!! What is this from what can I do?

I checked around the web for side effects from knee surgery and numbness and burning in the toes  does not appear to be a common side effect. Numbness and burning sensations typically suggest some problems with the nerves.

 

If it's not a complication from your knee surgery  - as one would suspect - you should be aware that nervous system problems in the feet are sometimes a sign of diabetes. Either way you should definitely get this checked out. Good luck!
