I am curious if the product called True Back is 'truly' effective at reducing lower back pain
My lower back hurts me during the night and every morning I use a heated pad, my "buddy" while I have my coffee. I don't think that the pain is caused by my bed as we recently replaced our waterbed and have gone through two new mattresses. My husband had no problems with either of the new mattresses although he did with the waterbed. I am wondering if anyone has used the TRUE BACK device advertized on TV. It sounds really good.
I haven't used it and I can't tell you how good it is.
I can tell you that the research done on 'True Back' consists of a single small study that measured whether True Back increased the length of the spine more than did lying in the supine position. It did. That research does not appear to have been published in a peer-reviewed medical journal. The study did not measure whether True Back was effective in assisting with pain.
This does not mean that True Back is effective or not effective. It does mean that it's effectiveness has not been assessed in a rigorously controlled scientific study.
Lower back pain is one of the most common ailments. Have you seen a doctor for your pain?
