Q: Do Gallstones Cause High Blood Pressure

I could not find a link between hypertension and gallstones in my research. But, the pain from gallstones, like any other intense pain, can cause your blood pressure to rise. This is more of reaction to the pain and not true hypertension. Your blood pressure should return to normal after you get the pain under control.

 

This is an important concern to discuss with your doctor.
