what pill is ip 109/ Norco ? My dr.changed my pain medication from watson 5/500 to the Norco which I heard is also atype of vicodin(hydrocodone). Has anyone taken this medication? It seems to help me with the pain. I would appreciate some feedback if anyone has any knowledge of this medication.

Both medications are a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen. They're just made by different manufacturers. The ip 109 is 5 mg of hydrocodone and 325 mg of acetaminophen. I haven't taken that particular brand but have taken the hydrocodone/acetaminophen mix and it is quite helpful for my pain.
