Q: Cymbalta help my fibromyalgia

will Cimbaltra (sp) help my fibromyalgia? I am on Lyrica and pain pills now ?

It's hard to say since everyone reacts differently to different medications.  Each of the three medications approved for fibromyalgia seems to help about 30 - 40 percent of the patients who try them.  Unfortunately there's no way of knowing whether you'll be in that percentage or not without trying it.  I've heard from lots of people who have tried Cymbalta and some love it while others hate it.  I wish I could give you a more definitive answer, but I'm afraid it's just a matter of trial and error to find the best medication for you.  If what you're taking now isn't working that well for you, it might be worth trying.  Good luck to you!
