How to add to and manage my sharepost and profile

When I found this site, I wanted to share and create a sharepost. I'm afraid, not knowing how, I may have messed it up. What guidelines do I follow and keep it current? I feel very blessed to have found this help. Should I start over and if so, please give directions.
