I have constant pain the the area between the pelvic bone and where my leg connects. I am 56.

I cannot left my leg at the joint without pain. I also have pain in my hip on the same side as this problem.  Heat gives me some relief, but the pain is getting worse.  I also have similar pain in my left elbow and left knee.  Could it my Fibromyalgia or the beginnings of arthritis?

I'm not familiar with the symptoms of fibromyalgia but I have had quite a bit of pain in my hip in the same area (where the hip/leg connect).  My arthritis doctor has treated it by giving me an injection, in addition to the arthritis medication (Relafen) that I take daily.  We weren't sure if the pain was coming from arthritis or from disc problems in my lower back, but the injection (steroid of some sort) really helped me.  I've been able to cut back on pain medication (ocycodone) and even go up & down stairs much better.  I don't know if an injection would help you, but it is definitely worth discussing with your health care professional.

Hello....please google "parathyroid" and read about this....I, too, had a lot of issues which turned out to be a problem with parathyroid....I, too, have FM....but after I had the parathyroid surgery my pain got better. Have your doctor check your blood calcium level...
