i'm 175lbs. good health, need to know how long it takes to get percocet out of my system,
i'm not a drug addict,ok, i got hurt at work,i can't afford to miss any work so i got a pill from somebody.
i only to 1 pill 1000mg
our vacation is coming up and i need to see doc. just want to know if i'm clean or not.
took it 5 days ago.
Greetings,
I've never heard of 1000 mg percocet. But if you took one pill five days ago I'm sure it's out of your system. If you need to know the half life, of any drug just type in percocet in a search engine and you can find out who made the drug and all about it.
If you have to take UA's for workmen's comp you should probably only take drugs that are prescribed. I know it's hard, but for most of us here that are on pain managment have learned that you screw yourself up big time with the doctors if you take meds that aren't prescribed.
Hope this helps and you get better

Hi Rick,
I got this from a question that Karen Lee Richards answered:
"The oxycodone portion of percocet has a half-life of 3.2 hours for the regular version and 4.5 hours for the extended release version. (The half-life of a medication is the time it takes for your body to metabolize and excrete a drug so that half of the drug is removed from your body.) As a general rule you are considered fully clean in blood and urine after 5 half lives. So for regular percocet, that would be 16 hrs. and 22.5 for extended release.
Keep in mind that the half of every drug varies greatly. Half-life can also vary from patient to patient if the patient suffers from altered kidney or liver function. For a more accurate estimate for a specific medication, check with your pharmacist. "
