Hi Virginia, Im so sorry for your accident and pain. Regarding the stimulator. I had the wires connected under my skin on my spine, then I wore the stimulator without the device placed inside, it was taped to me. I wore it for a week, night and day. I didnt get any help from it at all, and I went into it wanting it to be the miracle. After that I was given morphine pills but I realize that this neuropathy is probably forever, and I cant take morphine forever so I dont take it. I have heard of it helping some people. I only know of one man personally who had the stimulator put in. It helped him tremendously for about 6 mo., he is now right back, possibly even worse pain than before. Maybe it will help you, I keep searching too.
