I have a morphine pump for chronic back pain. Would this cause me to sweat more than normal?

It could. Several patient reports on internet report increased sweating and sweating is a possible side effect of morphine. (In fact one of the google ads on the site below is for treating excessive sweating!) You can check out morphines potential side effects at

The above site suggests that this is a symptom you should tell your doctor about.

Good luck!

Yes it will. Your body will slowly get used to it. When I was in the hospital for one of my lower back surgeries, Morphine was making me have a cold clamy sweat. It was unpleasant, but better than the pain.
