Q: Fluid and Ringing in Ears

I have for about five years clear fluid draining from ears occassionaly and especially when I lay down. I also have ringing in my ears, especially the left one.

I had my ears checked and I do have hearing loss in my left ear and a little in my right. I also had a MRI of my head.

I was told my hearing loss was maybe related to a viral.

When this all started I had got a house dog.

I am wondering could this be related to allergies to the dog?  Or can dehydration cause this? Or could it be clear wax draining and building up in my ears?  Doctor says my ears look clear.

Why would there be clear fluid draining from ears?  I can hear crackling when I hold my nose and blow air.

Can this fluid be causing my hearing loss and how can I get rid of the fluid in my ears?

Thank you.
