Q: which medication is better, Hydrocodone/APAP 5/500 or Hydrocodone/ acetaminophen 5-325 TB?

Both these drugs have the same amount of opioid pain reliever (5 mgs) and the first has about 50 percent more acetaminophen so its just a bit more powerful. (Acetaminophen adds a small boost to the hydrocodone.) If you do well with acetaminophen you might prefer the first choice; if you don't do well with acetaminophen or you are trying to limit the amount of acetaminophen you take, as some people are, you might be better off with the second one.
