My fingers and hands become tingly, stinging pain.Wet,burning feeling across butt. I cannot sweep a floor, stand to do dishes walk through a store, nothing seems to stop the pain except sitting, but thats when my fingers go tingly and sting beyond belief. I have large breasts, been in car accident with whiplash, diagnosed with Scoliosis when I was younger, and am over weight..Is there any one specific diagnosis that causes all these symptoms or a combination? I want to cry just to stand and its causing severe depression for me. Is there help out there and whom do I go to ?

I'm sorry about all your troubles. You really should be able to get a specific diagnosis that states exactly where your doctors believe your problems start. With that medical information you can hopefully get second opinions on the right treatment regime for you. (Apparently the one you're on isn't working). If you have complex problems its important to find an integrative pain clinic that uses multiple approaches to pain from behavioral (meditation/mindfulness) to drugs to physical approaches. (Pain.com has a program you can use to search for clinics)

It's important as well to address the almost inevitable burdens of depression and sadness over your limitations since those can substantially add to your illness burden. John Kabat Zinn has written a book called "Full Catastrophe Living" that addresses living with pain and many other books are available.

Finding the best way to deal with chronic pain often takes years. Good luck on your search.
