Although my expertise is not in the field of oral surgery, it does sound like you were treated very badly.  I do know that an infection can be very dangerous and is certainly nothing to play around with.    You can report any mistreatment to your state dental board.  Here is a Web site that gives links to all the state dental boards in the U.S.:  http://www.dentalwatch.org/org/boards.html    If you want to take legal action, you would need to talk to an attorney to find out if you have grounds for a malpractice suit.  Many attorneys will give you a brief initial consultation at no charge.
