Tony, I have had several foot operations for various reasons. One of the first ones was for nueromas (nerve pain). I also get callouses on both feet. I try to use a method of carefully removing the callous once a week. Be sure to check that you don't have a wart. I had one right in the center of ball of foot and was a killer. This can be treated. I still get the callous but I can sand that down. Good Luck
