which drug is safer? Suboxen or Methodone?

Hi I wanted to know which drug is safer? I have been taking 30milgram of oxycodone 2 time a day for the past year for back pain although I feel I've became dependent on it and my back is getting better so I want to quit before its too late. My doctor wanted to either prescribe me either methodone or suboxen.  What do you know about both of these drugs? I want something that will still help my pain but something I can gradually stop taking.

According to this website subuxone appears to have a few less side effects, offers less chance of addiction and appears easier overall to take (less trips to the doctor).
